I know a few people whose day rises and falls based on The Daily Show
with Jon Stewart. I have honestly tried to like it after watching it
occasionally over the years, but I find it deeply flawed.
At best I find Stewart trying too hard, or acting as if everything is

About half of the shows have been produced in LA for decades. Until GL
was canceled, it was 4 LA shows, 4 NYC shows.
Now, DOOL, B&B, Y&R,GH, and AMC are LA. ATWT and OLTL are the
remaining NYC soaps and after Sept, it will just be OLTL.

There *is* the niggling little problem that it totally destroys
suspension of disbelief if the characters stop everything they're doing
every five minutes and break into song. (Same if they behave in any
other colossally unrealistic manner -- the Idiot Plot being the other
commonplace culprit.)
